About Meridias
Vendor APIs and open-source models should compete on measured merit.
Meridias combines the Hebrew medidah, meaning measurement, with the Latin meritum, meaning merit.
The name reflects my view that vendor APIs and open-source models should be selected by what they measurably achieve, not by marketing, brand recognition or hype.
Meridias independently evaluates them across capability categories and makes evaluated options available through one standardised interface. Customer requirements determine which options are eligible and how each request is orchestrated.
As the market evolves, new vendor APIs and open-source models can be evaluated and integrated without customers rebuilding around individual providers.
